Gard Business Group (GBG) has been actively growing and serving business clients in Wisconsin since it was formed in 2007.

John Gard has extensive experience working across numerous sectors of the economy and across partisan political lines.

John Gard is the President of GBG and the former Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly. John was elected twice by his Republican colleagues to serve as their leader and also served as the Chairman of the legislature's powerful Joint Finance Committee for 5 years. John developed wide respect among his colleagues for his integrity, trust and ability to bring people together to solve big problems.

John is a 1986 graduate of the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with a B.S. in Public Administration and Political Science. In addition, John ran cross country and track at UWL.
